The Rapid Response™ Urinary Tract Infection Test Strips tests for leukocytes and nitrite in urine to aid in the screening of urinary tract infection (UTI). This test can be given to patients to check for an acute urinary tract infection, and to help monitor and assess therapy treatment.

UTI Testing
The Rapid Response™ Urinary Tract Infection Test Strips detect leukocytes (white blood cells) and nitrite, in urine, as their presence indicates an infection. Treating urinary tract infection early is key to a fast UTI recovery and prevention of further serious problems.
The test is a firm plastic strip with a wide plastic handle making it easy to grip. To use this test, wet test pads in a clean urine stream or dip the pads into clean collected urine for 1-2 seconds.
